Key Responsibilities:
Supporting Inclusion: As a SENCO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that students with special educational needs receive the support they need to succeed. You will work closely with teaching staff and parents to develop tailored strategies and interventions.
Assessment and Planning: Conduct assessments and create individual education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, teaching assistants, and external professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
Liaison with Parents: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, involving them in their child's educational journey.
