Job Title: Business Teacher with potential TLR for 2ic Business or Head of Year for the right candidate

The Role: Dunbar Education is seeking an excellent Business Teacher to join a thriving Business Studies and IT department in an Ofsted 'good' 11-18 mixed academy. As a committed educator, you will have a passion for raising attainment and motivating students to succeed at the highest levels. You will bring innovative ideas, concepts, and experiences to enhance the learning experience for our students. This role offers autonomy in teaching and provides access to an outstanding CPD package for personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Business Studies courses for KS4 and KS5 students, fostering a culture of academic excellence and achievement.
  • Collaborate with the experienced Head of Department to contribute to the development and implementation of the Business Studies curriculum.
  • Engage students through innovative teaching methods and resources, providing a stimulating learning environment.
  • Contribute to the success of the Sixth Form Business Studies program, utilizing the state-of-the-art facilities in our recently opened Sixth Form center.
  • Lead or contribute to extracurricular activities such as the Young Enterprise Club and Business and Computing lunchtime club.
  • Take on additional responsibilities, such as Second in Department or Head of Year, for the right candidate with aspirations for career progression.
