A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Northampton is recruiting a Year 1 Teacher from September. The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher. The successful teacher will be responsible for delivering a rich and engaging curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of young learners. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the early education of pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire Year 1 pupils
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Assess and monitor pupil progress
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Implement school policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with educational standards
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 1
- Strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and child development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil success
