We are looking for an Education Liaison Officer to join our team! The successful candidate will need to have a proven track record of secondary school professional experience and a commitment to helping young people with sentences transition successfully into the educational sector.
You will be responsible for gathering information regarding education provision in the community, as well as making sure that any necessary attendance and attainment records, evidence of special educational needs (SEN), and Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) documentation is all in place for any new learners.
The role will also involve liaising with community professionals in order to set up a rolling contacts document, and compiling monthly education reports. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring that young people who have been sentenced will have their educational needs met through arranging exit interviews, supporting with applications, CV writing, and other related tasks.
